I am an old school photographer. I prefer to shoot on film rather than use digitally captured images because of the quality I see in the print. There is a classic, timeless quality to a well-exposed image bathed in natural light and captured on film; its use and look are steeped in tradition. Film compliments natural light, its light kisses the cheek and flows along the lines of the face beautifully; its quality cannot be replaced.

I was born and raised in Texas. I started taking photographs at 15 and knew instantly that photography was my life's calling. I now have 17 years of experience in professional photography.

I was lucky early on to earn some high-profile clients. I pay them the respect of keeping their privacy guaranteed, this is of paramount importance to me. This coupled with my talents led to a successful career based primarily on referral clients.

Crucial to fine portrait photography is capturing the right moment. You have to be able to see the inherent beauty of your subject, and highlight it with photography. I love challenges. I prefer to capture casual, natural shots of my subjects, and my photojournalism background helps greatly in this. I am also quite efficient when posing and directing my subjects. Your after ceremony formal shots will go quickly and smoothly, enabling you to enjoy your reception longer.

It’s also very important to me to provide my clients with up to date, quality products. I have beautiful coffee table books, albums, framed portraits, as well as scans of images on CD available to my clients.

I place a great deal of importance on the experience my clients will have while being photographed. As a wife and mother of twins and a 6 year old, I have learned the value of patience and a positive outlook. I work hard to make each creative session a comfortable and enjoyable moment my clients will look forward to repeating, a wonderful experience that culminates in breathtaking portraits.
